Pure & Simple Strawberry Margaritas
This recipe is a million times better for you than most premixed or restaurant margaritas because it has wholesome ingredients but also keep in mind, it has more than enough sugar – so drink this cocktail sparingly.
On a diet plan?
I would recommend having one 16 ounce glass after a solid healthy meal and call it a day. You will feel buzzed and full!
If you are celebrating or just letting loose – drink the night away with no regrets. Just remember…you will need to put in some extra time working it off the following week!

Ingredients (makes two 16 ounce margaritas):
1.5 cups of ice
3 cups frozen strawberries
1 lime (lime juice)
3 tbsp. simple syrup (optional, recipe below) or substitute with agave syrup
3 shots of tequila
1/3 cup water
1. Add Frozen Ingredients into Blender. Fill blender with ice and frozen strawberries.
2. Add liquid Ingredients. Squeeze lime juice into blender. Add tequila, simple syrup (optional) and water.
3. Mix Ingredients in Blender. Blend until it has a slushy consistency. If it is still too thick, add water (or more simple syrup if you want it sweeter) until it blends together into a velvety texture. Enjoy!
Simple Syrup: First mix together equal parts of water and sugar of your choice (cane, organic or coconut sugar) into a small pot.
For example, mix 1 cup of sugar with 1 cup of water. Cook on medium heat until mixture is clear and evenly mixed. Serve cooled.
**Keeps for one month. Store tightly sealed in refrigerator.
