Let’s face it. Everyone craves some good pancakes from time to time. The trouble is that regular pancakes are loaded with weight gaining carbs and sugar. This recipe takes only a few minutes to prepare and can jump start your weight loss goals.
These pancakes are completely sugar and grain free. The butter and gooey cream cheese makes you want to savor every bite. You would never even realize they are sugar free and super healthy for you!
1/3 cup nut flour of your choice (I made my own walnut flour)
1/3 ground flax seed
2 tsp. maple syrup extract
1/2 cup cream cheese (I like using whipped cream cheese)
butter & extra cream cheese for topping
1. Mix nut flour, ground flax seed, cream cheese, eggs, maple syrup extract in blender or with a hand mixer.
2. Grease pan and set stove top to medium heat.
3. Pour batter (may be slightly runny but will cook into a delicious pancake) and cook until both sides are golden brown.
4. Top with butter and cream cheese. Then devour!
